Laaker’s Photography Now Wrapped in Hardcover

(Mountain View, CA) – Micah Laaker’s photographic enterprises are now featured in “Stockton: Renewed, Revitalized, Redefined“, a hardcover coffee table book illustrating the history and revivification of Stockton, California.

The book features two of Laaker’s photographs from a recent visit to Stockton:

These two photographs by Laaker were discovered on Flickr by Cherbo Publishing Group, the book’s publisher, during its production.

“What better opportunity for Stockton to show off its better features than to feature a showing of some of Laaker’s shots?” said Micah Laaker. “Cherbo’s acquisition of these two images for this publication speaks to the quality of the publication, and, in turn, to Stockton itself for approving such imagery. To them both, I say, ‘Stay classy, Stockton.'” (It was uncertain if
Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy was playing in the background during Laaker’s comments. Regardless, Laaker enjoyed his trip to Stockton, which did indeed feature some beautifully restored buildings.)

Commissioned by the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce, “Stockton: Renewed, Revitalized, Redefined” was written by Anne Gonzales. Gonzales was the former business and agriculture reporter for The Record.

More news about the book can found at The Record, the Chamber of Commerce, and at Amazon.com.
